Meet Lucky:

Lucky is a Sasha's Legacy Adoption which handles the rehoming of the "Strays of Afghanistan" for The Puppy Rescue Mission and other organizations. Sasha's Legacy was created out of the need to honor Sasha the afghan dog that attacked a suicide bomber that was trying to enter one of the barracks on a base in Afghanistan one late evening when all the soldiers were winding down for the day. 57 soldiers survived that night but Sasha did not. Target and Rufus the other 2 dogs that were also involved in attacking the bomber survived. Sasha "Guardian of Men" and our Guiding Angel assists us in the Mission of finding homes for the "Strays of Afghanistan".

 Lucky is a really nice mom dog, a koochee mix who was rescued more than two years ago by a military unit with a litter of puppies. She also had her ears cropped as a baby, which often happens there. After she and her pups were brought to us in kabul, all the puppies were adopted but we never found a home for Lucky. She has been at the shelter far too long and when i saw her there last week she looked so sad when I left that it broke my heart. I am determined to get her to a loving home. She is healthy and spayed and very even tempered and gets along well with other dogs.
A family in Florida is adopting Lucky so lets rally and get this precious girl to the Land of the Free, Because of the Brave. Paw Salute!
